Sherlock Holmes

Title: Sherlock Holmes
Year: 2009
Director: Guy Ritchie
Subject: Arthur Conan Doyle , Lionel Wigram
By:
Robert Downey Jr. : Sherlock Holmes
Jude Law : Dottor Watson
Rachel McAdams : Irene Adler
Mark Strong : Lord Blackwood
Kelly Reilly : Mary Morstan
Eddie Marsan : Isp. Lestrade
William Houston : Clark
Hans Matheson : Lord Coward
James Fox : Sir Thomas
Clive Russell : Captain Tanner
William Hope : John Standish
Martan Kozek : Imskay
Jeanna Blow : Moria Standish

More than one person told me that a film about the famous character of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was expecting something else. Holmes, detective of Victorian London, was ingenious, elegant, calm and insightful. Imagination collective method of investigation by a guru, but from the unusual to "educate" always put down and polite in the way we do. Fortunately, these judgments are often negative on the film, did not adversely affect my vision and my objectivity in forming opinions and formulate an opinion.
The film is wanted but never snobbish: some shots are worth very much to the director's ability to capture light and fine details, "copyright" and make them visible to the eye even of the less careful.
The Sherlock Holmes in Guy Ritchie is a vicious (he drinks, he gambles ...) with strong obsessive-compulsive disorder for anything intrigues him, so much on himself and groped her the dog experiments proved dangerous. A wonderful passage in which he states "with the music theory I have created order out of chaos," referring to a study conducted on small insects using sound of the violin and observation of their flight arrangements, "it took me six hours to trapping them in one by one, "admits candidly. A child or an idiot? This is the meaning of the film: the genius of Holmes and his opponent is right in the rules and subvert the peace apparently "rational". Holmes is great because it thinks as if every experience was new, focused every detail according to the picture. This contrasts with its extravagance and its apparent sconclusionatezza, the character of Watson: Doctor calm, intelligent, but much more ordinary. In most of the couple suddenly reminds me of the Holmes-Watson pair-Wilson House (Dr. House MD ), in which Holmes is clearly comparable to the House, both brilliant and clear with serious psychological disorders.
The plot refers to a 'detective adventure (do not think it is from any of Doyle's novels), which faces a Freemason rich and obsessed with the occult, eager to put the yoke of democratic institutions' British Empire (the world's most powerful at that time).

Beautiful People Streaming

Prima di partire

few thoughts before leaving for the camp with the boys. When we went Capalbio the first time, to see the camp site, we wrote a few words on this blog .
seemed so far this summer. Then we organized the dinner for funding to enable this two-week vacation for the family home. This is the fourth year that we bring the kids out for summer, a bit like a family that you plan vacations and more has the pleasure of spending a few weeks out with his boys. Ours are like all teenagers and young people want and do not want to spend too much time with their parents. And this is the first thing that comes to my mind this year and they are happy.
Let me explain.
Usually we have guys who "are where you put them, only to then take the pleasant experiences and use them effectively until canceled. It seems to me that the boys this year have also done a good location because they are all emotionally tied to Oriolo, friends, girlfriends and go is not easy. Just as it is not easy having to pass the time, though pleasant, with the adults who take care of you. And I think, however, that this resistance is entirely positive. You do not loosen easily from what is pleasant, as well as after the camp will be difficult to return home.
So even having to say goodbye to their friends and do without it for two weeks and then find them there where you left them, well, for us it is something that marks an evolution, something that makes you grow and already represents a measure of this growth.
As for us .... Pass the time between the sea and the kitchen, we'll get up a little earlier (at least this writer) for breakfast and to point to themselves. In the evening the kids wait between us staying out on the porch talking about to start the new year.
And I hope every now and then you can update the blog.

Cake Mate Sorft Frosting

Splice

Title: Splice
Year: 2009 (released in Italy as of 13/0/10)
Director : Vincenzo Natali
Starring: Adrien Brody
: Clive Nicoli
Sarah Polley : Elsa Kast
David Hewlett : William Barlow
Abigail Chu : Dren a child
Brandon McGibbon : Gavin Nicoli
Simona Măicănescu : Joan Chorot

Where to start? The positive side, even if I have briefly: photography. I noticed a particular concern for the environment in sharp contrast to the professional life of the protagonists (the latest computer technology, the highest level and so on. etc..) and their personal lives. All this is summed up in the scene where Elsa finds his own room when she was a child "as he had left." Belle lights: As the tension increases, switching from incandescent light and a tank of neon to a laboratory 'setting for outdoor night and twilight. Some cuts from French director depressed and a high level of acting: Brody manages to be almost always believable.
Everything I wrote in no way justifies the bad plot straight out of a B-movie rejects. Ed Wood probably would have done better. Is not there some flaw that makes the narrative a little sinuous or which limits the understanding: there is no uniformity and stiffness in the construct of narrative film. The two scientists actors (Clive and Elsa) are working on a project of splicing (literally merge, mix) of the DNA of various creatures, including Elsa same. A viewer of science fiction films and fantagenetica would expect the emergence of a powerful creature that threatens the species human as in X-Files, Leviathan, etc. The thing. etc.. Instead, the moment that should mark a turning point in the narrative is immediate: it only arrived towards the end of the film, when Clive and the now-adult Dren (the chimera grows at frenetic pace, as Solomon Grundy) fornicators and "scientists" are crying realize that you have twisted the rules of the game. The film ends after this gem, with a sequence of acts osceniumanamente and cinematically speaking, and just can not avoid the cliché of being vindictive semiumano extraordinarily powerful and fruitful and that kills everything it finds.
Do not throw away your time with this film, devoid of taste and slancio. Un film che peggiora con il passare del tempo e che proprio non vuol saperne di rimanere un film mediocre: con l'ultima mezzora di violenze, incesti e psicologia da quattro soldi si qualifica il per ora peggior film di questo blog.

14ft Aluminum Boat Renications

The Road

Titolo: The Road
Anno: 2009
Regista: John Hillcoat
Soggetto: The Road, Cormac MaCarthy
Con:
Viggo Mortensen
Kodi Smit-McPhee
Michael K. Williams
Robert Duvall
Guy Pearce
Charlize Theron

A sad film, impact and poignant. In the scenes lies a certain sweetness, of uncertainty over the future of the race and unconditional love that every human being, like it or not, to test their "guest" (maybe we are not pests to the earth?) . The film immerses his characters in a world ravaged by an unspecified catastrophe. Most human beings have died for years, food is scarce and nature is inclement, the chances of survival are ephemeral and any sign of civilization is removed. In a land where no one can aspire to nothing more than to die without being prey to other men (mostly devoted to cannibalism), morally deviant, and that man has nothing if not the outward appearance.
Father and son (Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee ) travel to the south in hopes of meeting a more forgiving nature, hoping to find food. Struggling every day to avoid starvation and to not meet a painful end. What makes this film interesting is the climate of the narrative, events, actions are struggling to stand out on each other until the final scene, one that might seem, from my description, a narration of events is rather flat, a constant and debilitating emotional journey for the viewer. The tension in the film is always held at the maximum acceptable level, the paranoia of the father in contrast to the good faith and innocence of the child infects the viewer. I confess that this film, gorgeous, threw me into turmoil. It 's a beautiful film. In Italy, its distribution has been delayed and even blocked because the film was deemed "too depressing".
A negative note is the ugliness of the influential voice of the child in the Italian dubbing.

How Much Will Gamestop Give Me For My Psp

Buon ferragosto

Epoché wishes you happy holidays.
For us, the adult partner in August takes a month's holiday. See you later in September.
The family house has continuity in its nature. So, in turn, you go on holiday and who remains home soul. The 21 then we'll all go camping in Capalbio with the kids, thanks to your participation in the dinner on July 3.
I believe that some updates from the camp will be possible. For now, Charles has made the Orioles first week and it looks like it went well.
In terms of the new house of Capranica, Work will resume after August. And as we already mentioned we're waiting for the last part of the furnishings of the house. Stephen has already brought some furniture.
certainly think a lot these days, how to organize things, how will this new project, some very interesting proposals that have been made by a Roman town. But perhaps this free space of more relaxed these days leads us to work with the fantasy about our organization, to improve it and make us more equal to honor our work.
again happy holidays and a greeting to everyone.

Pokemon Orange Cheats On Gpsphone

A quiet weekend in fear

Titolo: Un tranquillo week-end di paura
Anno: 1972
Soggetto: James Dickey
Sceneggiatura: James Dickey
Con:
Jon Voight : Ed Gentry
Burt Reynolds : Lewis Medlock
Ned Beatty : Bobby Trippe
Ronny Cox : Drew Ballinger
Seamon Glass : primo Griner
Randall Deal : secondo Griner

But something goes wrong: Ed and Bobby stumble, landed ashore for a brief chase, two shady characters. Two tanks and psychotic redneck, whose nature has not granted certain favors. At this juncture is shown with thin cynicism the first scene of rape, for more gay film history. These sequences of physical violence to Bobby and strong psychological violence for the audience remained in the collective imagination and have impressed the media at the time.
tragic, dramatic, high-impact psychologically, this film is destined to enter the hall of fame of the so-called film "cult." Missed. Full of tension and silence, full of wisdom and violence reveals a cinema adventure away from the simplicity and the Hollywood-gooders. A beautiful photograph, with images and sounds intense backdrop of a deep and engrossing story, never predictable and awful. The acting is crucial: a further strength of this film compelling. Burt Reynolds, who, with his sleeveless leather looks a lot like Jon Irenicus , impatient and dissatisfied in the role of the adventurer Circulation of things for human civilization is credible and thick. Jon Voight is an ordinary man, good and flexible, but it usually responsible and courageous. Buy credibility giving depth and humanity to a character in between man and superman, between civilization and wilderness.
great movie, enjoy it.
